Meetings, agendas and reports

Here you can find a record of the papers for all the council’s public meetings since May 2000, all decisions taken and all issues where decisions are planned in the next 12 months. For details of any meetings before May 2000 please contact Democratic Services on 01454 864117.

To see the minutes of any meeting, phone Democratic Services on 01454 86 4117 or e-mail democraticservices@southglos.gov.uk. Staff are available and will be able to provide you with the record of the meeting quickly. However, all minutes are available on these web pages if you wish to look for them yourself. Due to the approval process for minutes, this may be time consuming. The minutes of a meeting are normally submitted for approval at the next meeting. This is where you will find the main record of what took place at the meeting you are interested in. You also need to check the meeting after that to ensure that no changes were made in the process of approving the minutes.

On 3 September 2001, the Council implemented a new constitution under the Local Government Act 2000. The constitution sets out how the Council operates, how decisions are made, procedures to be followed and the powers and responsibilities of councillors and officers.
